Ndeewo! I’m Asa.
I am an Igbo wife and an Igbo learner on a journey of learning the Igbo language.
I immerse myself in the beauty and richness of the language and culture. I began sharing this journey on social media in 2025, where I document what I have learned and what I find interesting to share.
One of the main reasons I started was to motivate myself and to connect with other learners like me who are not in a native language environment.
Beyond my Igbo learning journey, there is another side of me.
I am a linguist, a lover of photography, music and travel. Here on my blog, I bring both sides together: the journey inward through Igbo language learning and the journey outward through travel.
Through personal stories, language reflections and travel experiences, I hope to inspire curiosity, connection and the courage to embrace new cultures beyond your comfort zone.
