Ndeewo! I’m Asa.
I am an Igbo wife and an Igbo learner on a journey of learning the Igbo language.
I immerse myself in the beauty and richness of the language and culture. I began sharing this journey on social media in 2025, where I document what I have learned and what I find interesting to share.
One of the main reasons I started was to motivate myself and to connect with other learners like me who are not in a native language environment.
I am also doing this to better understand my husband, support my children as they grow into their multicultural identity, challenge the idea that Igbo is too hard to learn, and to inspire others to learn this remarkable language.
Beyond my Igbo learning journey, there is another side of me.
I am a lover of photography, music, and travel. Here on my website, I bring both sides together: the journey inward through language and the journey outward through travel, as I share moments, experiences, and stories along the way.
